Community Guidelines

Intropals is for friendship and language exchange. Please be kind, honest and safe.

Do

• Use your real age and an honest profile.
• Be patient with people learning your language.
• Keep conversations on Intropals until you trust someone.
• Report anything that feels wrong — reporting and blocking are always free.

Do not

• Ask for or send money, bank details, gift cards or cryptocurrency, or promote investments.
• Send the same message to many people or advertise.
• Push people to move to another messenger.
• Send sexual content or make sexual requests.
• Harass, threaten or insult anyone, or post hateful content.
• Pretend to be someone else or create several accounts.
• Contact or describe yourself as someone under 19.

What happens when rules are broken

Our systems may mark possible problems for review. Our staff decide what to do, which may include a warning, removing content, or suspending or closing the account. You can ask for a review at support@intropals.net.

To keep everyone safe, authorised staff may review messages, profiles and activity, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Reviews are recorded.
